The Epoxy Primer can be used as a primer for steel, such as gates that are exposed to rain, while it can also be applied to wood to help protect it from water and prevent damage.

KNOWING THE THREE EPOXY VARIANTS

“Tapos sa Marine Epoxy, All-Purpose, Marine, at Non-Sag. Ang Marine at Non-Sag ay normally ginagamit sa mga bangka. Kaya yung design niya, meron siyang drawing ng bangka. Malakas ang Non-Sag at Marine  sa mga coastal area, madalas siyang ginagamit talaga diyan. Pero ang All-Purpose, ginagamit na rin kasi maganda rin si Pearl Glaze sa wood, sa mga fiber, etc.”

The three variants may look similar in purpose, but their applications and characteristics differ.

THE MAIN DIFFERENCE: CONSISTENCY

Pioneer also has three epoxy variants that serve different purposes: All-Purpose, Marine, and Non-Sag.

“Ang difference ng tatlo: All-Purpose, Marine, at Non-Sag. Malapot si Non-Sag; from the word 'non-sag', hindi siya magdi-drip pagka-overhead application, vertical; hindi siya magdi-drip. Mas yun lang, mas malapot lang siya nang kaunti kumpara sa dalawa.”

Non-Sag has a thicker consistency, making it suitable for vertical and overhead applications where a product that does not easily drip is needed.

PEARL GLAZE FOR MARINE PROTECTION

Pioneer also offers a Pearl Glaze coating system, particularly for marine applications such as boats.

“Meron din kaming Pearl Glaze coating system application. Ito, kung sa bangka ginagamit, meron kaming primer, epoxy, may coating, and yung Pearl Glaze yung protection natin. Napapansin natin sa dagat ay ma-acid tsaka yung lumot. Sa katagalan, nakababad yung bangka. Anumang bagay na nakababad sa dagat, nilulumot ’yan. So para hindi mangyari ' yon, meron kaming Pearl Glaze anti-foul. Parang coating din siya.”

ALL-PURPOSE EPOXY: VERSATILE APPLICATION

The All-Purpose Epoxy can be used on wood, steel, stone, concrete, porcelain, and hard plastic. It can also be used for concrete cracks, depending on the application.

NON-SAG: THICKER AND FASTER DRYING

Lastly, Sir Orlando, further explains the consistency and drying time of the Non-Sag variant.

“Non-Sag ma'am, mas malapot lang siya compare sa Marine at saka sa All-Purpose. Yung difference ma'am, mas mabilis matuyo compare sa dalawa kasi nga medyo mas malapot.”
